Although Galp’s Hotspot heater is one of the most popular in Portugal, it’s also one of the pricier ones. Without a discount or tech upgrade to advertise, the challenge was creating a winter campaign that would retain sales against cheaper alternatives.

Insight 🥶

When we’re cold, we shiver and our teeth chatter. If we could establish a strong connection between this feeling and Galp’s Hotspot, it would be the first thing consumers would be reminded of when they feel cold.

Solution 🔥

We used the onomatopoeic sounds from teeth chattering to craft distinctive copy that would stand out from the competition. The outcome is a visually striking campaign positioning Galp’s Hotspot as the “Heater that makes the cold shiver”.
